HOME peaceful palace
The living room, dining room and kitchen flow together for easy living and entertaining. The walls are a light gray/green that pairs well with the dark wood floors. The beautiful trim includes wide crown molding and artful custom cabinets. High ceilings and large windows flooding the rooms with natural light add to the spacious feeling. “The is an amazing house with the handmade trim down to the slightest details,” Andrew said.

Two antique beds that the Hinkebein’s inherited from Teckie’s grandmother.
In the hallway joining
the kitchen and the study, Andrew points out a
lovely painted cabinet that survived Hurricane Katrina. The Hinkebeins use the study as a place to enjoy conversation and a glass of wine. It’s a visual treat with
interesting artwork, comfortable brown leather chairs, a gray-and-white rug and two matching ottoman poufs that give the room a fun kick. The art includes water color paintings from New Orleans and two prints of the U.S. Capital that are of special significance to Andrew who is on Senator Roger Wicker’s staff.
The upstairs consists of two guest bedrooms that have beds inherited from Teckie’s grandmother and a soothing gray and white master suite. The dark hardwood floors are used throughout.
The couple met when Teckie traveled here from Birmingham for a seminar at the Beau Rivage Casino Resort. She was with the Balch & Bingham law firm at that time and now serves as marketing director for the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.
