are busy young professionals who enjoy their ‘down time’ in this peaceful, wooded community. The exterior of the two-story home is pure Americana with an inviting front porch that’s complete with
a swing. The color is pale yellow with crisp white trim.
The house was built in 2007 — one of the first four houses in Florence Gardens — but the Hinkebeins have been there for only one year. Andrew describes it as “a work in progress” and when complimented on the lovely décor is quick to say, “Teckie did a great job with the décor, and I like to work with my hands so I’ve done things too such as putting in the sound system.”
The Hinkebein home is a ‘smart home’ with phone activated motion detectors and all
the latest security features. Every modern technological feature is included in this smart home, but the soft color palette is all about relaxing and feeling at home.
