Read a book at Pascagoula Beach Park
If you’re following along on the Mississippi Gulf Coast Facebook page, you’ll know I
recently visited this park and I adore it! It has so many wonderful amenities and is really a hidden gem. Perfect place for some peace and quiet with a good book.
Take a walk on Front Beach in Ocean Springs
This is top of my list and works well for any time of day. You cannot beat the picturesque
views and friendly people you meet! Plus, you can even take a pit stop and relax on the beach for a bit.
Sit in front of “The Big Window”of the Ocean Exhibit at Mississippi Aquarium
Immersing yourself in the wonders of the ocean is a great way to relax. You can try to spot your favorite aquatic creature or listen to the wonderful music
as everything swims around. You’ll definitely feel zen after.
Yoga Session at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art
A great way to refresh is with a yoga session. There are a lot of wonderful businesses
offering unique venues for yoga, and the Ohr- O’Keefe is one of them! Surround yourself with magnificent creations while re-centering and working on breathing and balance.
A trek through nature at the C. L. Dees Nature Trail Trailhead
A little-known experience is our many walking trails. This one is one of my favorites!
It’s in Gautier and is a lot of fun. There are two options for trails and both can be done in an afternoon.
A bike ride around Downtown Pass Christian
I’m always raving about this experience. There is just something so peaceful about
a bike ride, especially in downtown Pass Christian. The sun shining, the wind in your hair, and the sights and sounds of the beach or downtown. I can just feel the serotonin now!
