Experts tell us that once the decision is made, joining a health club is usually the first step, although it’s normally not enough. Also, fitness pros insist that using a personal trainer is far more effective than trying to figure it out yourself. You need
a routine based on your goals, and

lot faster than trial and error. Once you have a physical fitness routine
in place, the next priority, according
to nutritionists, is to get your diet in order. There’s a lot more to it than reducing fats and carbohydrates. If your goal is to gain muscle mass and you’re not getting the protein your body needs to build muscle, you won’t achieve your goals. Most people are more concerned with losing weight than building muscle.
Diet is much more effective at losing weight than exercising. Joff Clarke, owner of Bayou View Fitness, has first hand experience. “Twenty to thirty percent of your healthy weight goals are achieved by exercise, but seventy to eighty percent are through diet,” he says.
