Halloween scavenger hunts, ugly sweater contests during the holidays and even bicycle decorating contests.
Another great group ride is with Cyclist Choice in Gulfport. Their “Popsicle Group Ride” takes place every Monday night from April through October at 6 p.m., beginning at Cyclist Choice. The group rides at a leisurely 8-10 miles-per-hour pace, but offers a second, faster loop for anyone looking for a speed ride. After winding their way through Jones Park and downtown Gulfport, the group finishes off their ride at Pop Brothers and enjoys gourmet popsicles.
The Gulf Coast Bicycle Club (GCBC) is another group option for those looking to get their bike on. They welcome cyclists of all ages who are looking for a group to ride with and to make new friends. GCBC offers a wide variety of group rides, from mountain biking at Bethel Trails in Saucier to bay night rides
in Pass Christian and a scenic ride ending with a delicious doughnut at TatoNut in Ocean Springs.
