Dr. Brashier is a Board Certified General Surgeon with specialized training in robotic, minimally invasive surgery. He is a graduate of The university of Mississippi and completed medical school at Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed
his surgery residency in Pontiac Michigan in 2012 and returned home to mid- Mississippi for 4 years prior to joining South Mississippi Surgeons in February 2016. Dr. Brashier is a Fellow
of the American College
of Osteopathic Surgeons, and a member of the American Osteopathic Association, and the Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association.

Attended University of Mississippi for undergraduate training. Followed by Tulane university school of medicine. His general surgery residency training was
at the university of Tennessee at
Memphis, after completing this he
did his vascular fellowship also
at UT Memphis. He has been in
private practice for more than 18
years. He has interest all aspects
of general surgery including
breast, GI, thoracic, endocrine,
and hepatobiliary, in addition
has significant experience with
the daVinci robot. His vascular
training allows him to treat all
types of vascular problems both endovascularly (minimally invasive ) and open.
