Why do you enjoy what you do? I enjoy the wide variety of patients we are privileged to treat from infants to the elderly. We are surgeons and also get to treat a lot of primary care patients for things such as ear infections and sore throats.
Have you had an interesting or unusual case you can tell us about? I actually had a patient who refused sedation and underwent a balloon sinuplasty using self-hypnosis. She did great, and I was amazed!

What general advice do you have for South Mississippians to improve their health? Try to cut out sugar sweetened beverages and drink more water. Get out and enjoy our beautiful beaches and climate. Set a goal of 10,000 steps a day.
