Travel & Tourism is one of Mississippi’s largest export industries, generating economic bene ts across all part of the state. In Ocean Springs, tourism makes up to half of many of our small businesses business. Local residents and community friends play a major role in keeping our locals involved and spending locally, but tourism is equally important, and vital to the quality of life of Ocean Springs.
In terms of travel and tourism, the
top three categories in employment for 2020 were food & beverages, gaming and lodging. With more than 100 restaurants and bars in the community of Ocean Springs, we are celebrating Food Month in May. We invite our local residents and travelers passing through to shop, dine and stay with us in Ocean Springs.
