SAPPHIRE SUPPER CLUB
Since it opened last fall, the Sapphire Supper Club at Hotel Legends in Biloxi has become one of the city’s favorites for ne dining and entertainment.
“Our attention to detail, sophisticated ambiance and throwback entertainment have quickly made Sapphire Supper Club the place to be in Biloxi,” adds Tessy Lambert, director of public relations for Lodging and Leisure Investments.
Modeled after the legendary supper clubs of the 1930s and 1940s, the Sapphire Supper Club o ers diners classic Gulf Coast cuisine and even mixes in live music on the weekends. The restaurant’s custom-made illuminating tables provide special ambiance to add to the delicious dining experience
The Sapphire Supper Club o ers live music from 6-10 p.m. featuring Jesse Hill on Thursday and Spencer Racca every Friday and Saturday. It’s a draw for sure, according to Lambert, for those wanting an experience and not just dinner.
The food, however, is a draw too with many stand outs on the menu. French onion soup topped with
Gruyere cheese and toasted French bread croutons reigns as a starter menu favorite. For the main course, the grilled stu ed lobster is sure to be a palate pleaser with its stu ng of shrimp, crabmeat and herbs topped with a rich bechamel sauce. Meat lovers will be happy to nd a variety of o erings including the Steak Oscar, which is actually two petite let medallions with jumbo lump crab meat, asparagus and delightful bernaise sauce. Others may choose the Colorado rack of lamb which
is perfection topped with apple and mint relish.
No ne dining experience is complete without delectable deserts, and those are plentiful at Sapphire Supper Club. From o erings like chocolate and peppermint mile high pie topped with vanilla bean ice cream to a classic crème brulee, diners wanting a sweet treat are sure to nd something that satis es at the end of a great meal.
Lambert is hoping that the summertime will be busy at Sapphire Supper Club and is already seeing a bit of a surge.
