Biophilic Design is approaching architecture and interior design with our need to a liate with nature in mind. It’s simple, really. Take opportunities to bring in natural light and ventilation. Use natural construction and furnishing materials. And don’t forget the plants! They are good for you.
We feel better about ourselves when we connect to the outdoors. Studies show the sick heal faster, we are more productive at work, and mental health improves when we enjoy a view to the outdoors and witness Mother Nature in action.
