DININGGUIDE coastal staple
he Blind Tiger has established its place as a coastal staple, originally at its location in Bay St. Louis and then again in Biloxi on the Harrah’s Gulf Coast property. Continuing the expansion, a location will open soon in Slidell, Louisiana.
The restaurant is known for its beachy vibe and relaxed atmosphere, but each one certainly has its own twist. Owner Thomas Genin wanted to create a fun waterside bar with food to thrill locals and visitors alike, and he’s done just that. His approach to a fun and fresh place instantly took off at the original Bay St. Louis location and has quickly spread.
One of the factors that makes The Blind Tiger unique is their commitment
to fresh, wholesome ingredients. As evidence, The Blind Tiger restaurants don’t even have a freezer! Fries are cut from fresh potatoes each morning and burgers are handmade.
With the focus on fresh, quality foods, every offering is guaranteed
to impress. As none of their food
is frozen, the menu changes daily
to reflect what’s available that day. Rather than your average menu, however, patrons can view the specials on brightly colored chalkboards that adorn the walls.
Aside from their daily specials, The Blind Tiger also offers several staple items including burgers, hand cut fries and fresh fish sandwiches. When available, The Blind Tiger’s royal reds are consistently their most popular item. Paired with one of their out-of- this-world Bushwackers, you’ll be set for your own personal island retreat.
