The good thing about staycations is that you can
get away and feel refreshed without going far away — or spending an arm and a leg. There are a lot of things for families and couples to enjoy here in South Mississippi: beaches, water parks, kayaking, Ship Island excursions, nature tours, museums and on and on. Parents may not realize they can get
summer passes to use the swimming pools at several area casinos. A little creative thinking can lead to fun and memorable summer experiences.
Even locals sometimes like to check into a Coast hotel or bed and breakfast to really get that feeling of going on vacation with someone else making the beds and washing the towels.
One such place is a short drive from anywhere on the Coast — Bay St.
Louis. It’s a town where people aren’t in a hurry; where the term ‘laid back’ is the order of the day.
A stay at the Bay Town Inn, which overlooks the bay and the new municipal marina, gives the feeling
