he people of Pascagoula have loved Bozo’s Seafood Market and Deli for 60 years. It’s a tradition residents and visitors can’t imagine not having. Started in 1956 by the Delcambre family, Bozo’s is the place to go to purchase fresh seafood — along with the seasonings and mixes for cooking them
— and prepared seafood dishes that keep customers and diners coming back for more. Located on Ingalls Avenue just a stone’s throw from the waterfront, the business began as a grocery store before adding the fish market and deli.
“Anything pertaining to seafood, we’ve got it,” says manager Keith Delcambre. “Our seafood is fresh, not frozen.”
Bozo’s has a lot of regular diners, mostly local folks, but visitors who are told “you’ve got to go to Bozo’s” often come in, too.
Larry Olmstead, a writer for USA Today said the po boys
at Bozo’s were worth the detour off the interstate. “In the back right corner is the counter that makes Bozo’s so special, where some of the most delectable po boys in the South are served up,” he wrote.
Delcambre says Bozo’s has diners dressed in suits and ties as well as those with mud on their boots. “Everyone can relax and enjoy the food here,” he said.
