he 11th Annual Red, White & Blueberry Festival will be held June 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the L&N Depot Plaza in downtown Ocean Springs. Blueberry vendors will join other vendors of the Ocean Springs Fresh Market for this event.
Entrance to the festival is free and the public is invited to enjoy free vanilla ice-cream topped with a choice of blueberries or strawberries provided by the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau.
There will also be samples of blueberry dishes, blueberry recipes to share,
blueberry bushes to purchase and more. The Fresh Market vendors
will be out in full force with local items for purchase.

he Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center of Arts
& Education is the scene of many events. Programs Coordinator Stacy Howell makes sure the center has a variety of events, classes,
summer camps and programs.
The building is a historic 1927 restored schoolhouse
with the Albert Duckett Gallery featuring outstanding traveling art exhibits and displays, a gift shop and gallery where local artisans can sell their handmade goods.
The Ocean Springs Museum of History is located on the second floor in the west wing and celebrates Ocean Springs’ resort era from 1890-1910. The exhibit is set up like a hotel, and features furniture, artifacts, maps and more to re-create the time when Ocean Springs was incorporated into a city.
