Cure Starts Now foundation. There will be stand up paddle board and kayak races for men, women and youth under age 18.
The Cure Starts Now Foundation is striving to find a cure for children with brainstem glioma — a rare form of childhood cancer that is presently 100 percent fatal — and cancer survivors everywhere.
Amanda Schmidt, owner of Paddles Up, is organizing this event. “We will be having a raffle and are giving away all kinds of awesome things, including a three day weekend at the Islander Resort in Destin, Fla,” she said.
