COASTCASINOS Coast casinos have plenty of live entertainment
Tstory by Lori Beth Susman
here’s truly something for everyone at the Coast’s 12 casinos. The latest slots and table games are available and there’s plenty to entice non gamers to visit the properties’ outstanding restaurants, hotels,
night clubs and varied array of entertainment choices.
In addition to the significant economic impact, the Coast casinos provide an enhanced level of entertainment that was not available prior to the beginning of legalized gambling in 1992. Residents and visitors can experience national headliners, Las Vegas-style shows and regional talent.
Casinos have presented live entertainment icons including Tony Bennett, Willie Nelson, Gladys Knight, Smoky Robinson, Charley Pride and the late B.B. King along with newcomers such as Craig Campbell and Parmalee and local favorites, Eddie McDaniel and Rhythm & Rain.
Young family members are not overlooked either with shows such as Jungle Jack Hanna, holiday extravaganzas, circus events and summer productions.
During the summer months, outdoor fun is available with pool parties and events, such as the Adult Swim @ H2O at Golden Nugget
Biloxi and Tequila Sundays Pool Parties each week at Hard Rock Biloxi. Pools are open to hotel guests at no charge, and at many resorts, there is a small fee for those not staying there.
Plenty of parking is available and it’s always free.
