just in for something light, an order of calamari and a cold beer would be nothing short of grand.
There are 16 specialty rolls, many named for family members. The Mama Linda Roll starts the selection out and includes shrimp tempura and crunchies
on the inside, with cream cheese and avocado. The Bubba Gump is another shrimp roll, but is garnished with boiled shrimp. The Long Beach Roll features tempura shrimp again, but this time with cream cheese, cucumber, spicy chili sauce, boiled shrimp, crab, and avocado. There are two Southern inspired rolls that also deserve mention: the pimento and cheese roll and the BLT roll. Talk about fun and delicious!
The more traditional sushi selections — sashimi really — are also expertly prepared, and absolutely fresh. If you are a fan, then tuck into a delicious
bite of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, snapper, or shrimp. Remember, sushi can be eaten by hand, but sashimi is traditionally eaten with chopsticks. So take that little knob of wasabi, add soy sauce, and use it as a spicy dipping sauce. Showing your friends all the dexterity you have, pick up that delicious piece of yellowtail, dip it in the wasabi sauce and enjoy.
On A Roll will be a well-remembered stop for lunch or dinner that’s worth the drive from anywhere on the Coast. The food is artfully prepared, delicious, and prices are moderate. Check this place out.
