Emma Gehlsen is a Biloxi High School senior with a passion for school.
During what little academic downtime she
has, she’s busy studying medical terminology in preparation for competing in the HOSA-Future Healthcare Professionals competition later this year. She also serves as treasurer for the Biloxi High School HOSA chapter.

If you ask Grenn about himself, he’ll say he’s just a high school kid who has always enjoyed math. “And I’ve have always been pretty good at it,” he said. “I want to use what I like doing and what I am good at to make a positive impact on the world. Both of my parents have jobs in accounting, so growing up around it has probably influenced me.”
He wants to follow in his parents’ footsteps and plans to attend the University of Alabama and major in accounting.

She’s involved in numerous other organizations including
the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, and Psi Alpha Honor Society, and plans to continue that momentum when she attends the University of South Alabama in the fall, seeking a degree in biomedical sciences.
She’s also busy supporting the community with participation in numerous activities and drives and has countless distinguished honors and awards. She has even completed several college-level courses such as Advanced Placement Psychology, Advanced Placement Physics I, Advanced Placement United States History, and others.
