that I love about matcha. But the dark horse was definitely the Artichoke Refresher and is an absolute must-try. Freshly brewed artichoke tea is layered with basil seeds, grass jelly, fruit jelly, and aloe. You are allowed to be apprehensive, but don’t let it keep you from trying this refreshing and delicious drink.
Snow and Boba offers the perfect variety of snacks beyond their bobas. The Bubble Waffles are a crowd favorite and come in flavors such as Matcha, Ube Taro, and even Fruity Pebbles. Make sure to get a side of the house whipped Cinnamon and Honey Butter or the Sea Salt Foam for
the perfect dipping addition. Another warm delight is the Taiyaki, a Japanese street food that is essentially a sweet cake filled with custard, red bean, or cheddar to name a few. But the standout snack at Snow and Boba is by far the Bingsu.
Bingsu is like a sno-cone on steroids. It features the most delicately delicious shaved ice topped with condensed
milk, fruit, jellies and even red beans. Theresa and Tai
have absolutely cornered the market with their Bingsu. Strawberry Cheesecake features strawberry snow, strawberries, condensed milk, and even cheesecake bites. The Brownie Overload is an indulgent choice with its chocolate snow, brownie chunks, and chocolate and caramel drizzle. My favorite, however, is the Hawaiian Breeze with its addition of coconut, pineapples, condensed milk, popping bobas, and fruit jellies, all atop a soft serving of coconut snow.
Snow and Boba is one of those rare places that offers just the right amount of variety. Theresa and Tai recognize that while your first trip might seem a little overwhelming, they have the best staff available to help make you feel immediately at ease. Their plan of making Snow and Boba a premiere destination for their children and their friends has totally paid off. Kids of all ages come to sip boba teas, hang out, play games, or just relax with
friends.
Snow and Boba is one of my
favorite new cafes and you can find me there on Saturdays playing Mahjong with my two daughters. I decided I needed to get an early start on
them wanting to hang out with me when I’m old and gray. Snow and Boba is the perfect place to start.
