Summer Camp
The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies (IMMS) is a non-pro t organization established in 1984 for the purpose of public education, conservation and research of marine mammals and sea turtles in the wild and under human care. IMMS provides a place to ful ll its mission and share its work with the public.
Each summer, IMMS organizes consecutive camps. These Monday – Friday, 8 am to 3 pm, tuition based camps are designed for 6-17 year olds.
The Dolphin and Stingray Adventure Camp is our ultimate job shadow at IMMS and Ocean Adventures Marine Park. It is an immersive week-long day camp, in which your child can step into the rubber boots of a marine scientist – and experience the world
of our dolphins, sea lions, rays, sharks, and other animals who live here at IMMS and Ocean Adventures.
Your child will participate in hands-on learning opportunities designed to teach them about marine mammal, tropical bird, sharks, sting rays, and sea turtle biology and conservation. Students will even meet our resident dolphins, sea lions, birds, and rays!
Monday through Friday 8am to 3pm. Each week’s activities are the same. Camp Cost: $300.00
Payment is due in full at the time of booking.
Summer Camp Dates:
June 3-7 (Ages 6-14); June 10-17 (Ages 6-17); June 17-21 (Ages 6-14); July 8-12 (Ages 6-14); July 15-19 (Ages 6-14)
All activities are age appropriate. Activities are interactive involving touching sh and getting wet. Any allergies including shell sh allergies must be disclosed and may limit activities.
