MGCCC AND SINGING RIVER
HEALTH SYSTEM PARTNER
TO OFFER ON-CAMPUS
HEALTH CLINICS
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) and Singing River Health System have partnered to provide health care clinics at MGCCC campuses. The Singing River on-campus clinics were opened and began accepting scheduled and walk-in appointments on January 3, 2022. A ribbon cutting for the facilities was held on January 19 at the Perkinston Campus.
Singing River Health System on-campus clinics are located on the Perkinston, Harrison County, George County, and Jackson County campuses. Open houses at each campus were held in February.
Singing River and MGCCC have worked together for decades through joint academic and technical programs, providing hands-on learning experiences and career opportunities for students.
“MGCCC is excited about this new partnership and the opportunity for
its students, faculty, and staff to have access to knowledgeable health care professionals across the Mississippi Gulf Coast and surrounding areas,” said Dr. Mary S. Graham, MGCCC president.
In addition to the on-campus clinics, MGCCC students, faculty, and staff can visit off-campus Singing River Medical Clinics in Biloxi, Gulfport, Hurley, Latimer, Ocean Springs, Pascagoula, and Vancleave.
