How long have you been practicing law? 14 years.

Why did you become a lawyer? I wanted to help people, and something about being an advocate for others appealed to me. I also wanted a career that would allow me to own my own business.
What is your favorite part of your job? I enjoy helping people. I don’t represent companies, I represent people. Most of my clients are hard working, blue collar people who have suffered an injury and don’t know what to do when medical bills are mounting and they are not able to work. I feel good when I conclude their case having helped them through some of their darkest days.
Who is the person you most look up to? My grandmother. She risked her own life savings to co-sign my student loans so that I could pay for law school. I always knew she believed in
