Coast, we chose Kenny Badurak of KSB Contracting,” Burt said. “Kenny came highly recommended to us. He worked extensively with us to determine how to best accomplish our goals while working within our budgetary constraints. He has continued to make suggestions during the build process that allow us to improve our home’s resilience.
“The quality of the build is excellent! Not once have I felt that ‘a corner has been cut’ or that craftsmanship suffered. We look forward to seeing the finished product and using our coastal home for many generations to come!”
Sam and Brandy Weatherly are also current customers and are equally pleased. “In choosing a builder to build our forever home, there were several criteria that were important to us. Of course quality construction at a fair price was foremost, but beyond that, we needed to trust our builder, have open communication, transparency of costs within the budget and the ability to customize features,” Sam Weatherly said. “During our selection process, we interviewed several builders and narrowed it down
to two companies who build quality custom homes. Kenny Badurak and KSB Construction stood apart based on ease of communication, well organized proposals, strong business acumen, attention to detail and the overall feeling that he is a good person we can trust.”
Since choosing KSB, the Weatherlys feel all of their expectations thus far have been met. “This is not
to say we haven’t had any issues arise during the
construction process. With projects incorporating our home’s level of detail and unique customizations, challenges are inevitable,” Sam Weatherly said. “Kenny’s ability to overcome the challenges and come up with solutions better than the original plan have impressed us even more.”
A remodeling project brought John and Suzy Rice to KSB Contracting. “Our home was built by my parents in 1961. It’s about 1,900 square feet with eight-foot ceilings and the knotty pine walls which many homes had during that time,” Suzy Rice said. “But, there were many lovely and sentimental things about it that we wanted to hold on to. I came up with a renovated plan, had a blue print drawn, and we met with Kenny.”
The Rices were pleased that Badurak understood their vision of keeping the ‘feel’ of the home, but bringing new life and space to it. “He gave us a very detailed estimate of our costs for each and every line item, enabling us to make decisions of what we could and wanted to put into our home,” Rice said. “ Kenny was spot on regarding every amount. His creativity helped us do even more with our home than we had hoped for. He was able to take what we had, our vision of what we wanted and add his know-how and creativity to create a beautiful place for us to truly call home. We will be forever grateful.”
