At Pav & Broome, we have a long history of helping couples find the perfect engagement and wedding rings to symbolize their love and commitment to each other. We are thrilled to share the story of Daniel and Sarah Mooney, who recently tied the knot and celebrated the start of their new life together.
Daniel’s mother, Wanda Mooney, was
a beloved employee at Pav & Broome
for many years. She had struggled to conceive a child, but eventually gave birth to Daniel. Wanda decided to leave her job to stay home with her son, but sadly was taken by cancer at a young age. Daniel has always held Pav & Broome close to
his heart, as it was a special place for his mother. When it came time for him to find an engagement ring for Sarah, he knew there was no better place to turn.
Sarah and Daniel met while working together at Memorial Hospital and quickly became close friends. Sarah knew

there was something special about Daniel and started hinting that she may want something more. Daniel knew that Sarah wanted an “older” man, and he was a year younger than her, so he hesitated to ask her out. But with a little encouragement from his friends, he took the leap, and it paid off.
The two were inseparable, and it wasn’t long before Daniel knew she was the one, and this was the time. Daniel and Sarah were taking Christmas photos with his family. Toward the end of the photo shoot, he got down on one knee, pretending
to fix his boot. Hidden in his boot was
the Pav & Broome box his mother’s engagement ring had been stored in for so many years with Sarah’s engagement ring tucked inside. The answer was yes, and the wedding was set for December. Off to Pav & Broome to pick out their bands...
We were touched by Daniel’s decision to shop with us and feel privileged to have
been able to help him find the perfect ring for Sarah. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. We understand that an engagement ring is so much more than just a piece of jewelry. It’s a symbol of love and commitment, and it’s something that will be treasured for a lifetime. That’s why we take the

For their one-year anniversary, Daniel plans on getting Sarah the same band to go on the other side of her engagement ring to give it a perfectly balanced and framed look.
