ROMANCE & WEDDING
From the outside of Richburg Hall, it looks like a standard building. But once you walk in and past a small brick room divider, the space opens into an industrial style lover’s dream. Ceilings that seem to go up forever, and right underneath that, windows that let natural light in during the day and give you a fantastic view of the night sky in the evenings. Hanging down from beams are three large chandeliers, which bring the perfect touch of sophistication to the space.
Ginger Cook is co-owner of Richburg Hall, and has been
an event planner for many years now. “The inspiration for this venue came from wanting a place that could offer everything to my clients,” she says. “With everything in house, we are able to devote all of our time and energy to perfecting our clients’ visions for their events. I absolutely love people and helping them bring their vision to life.”
From corporate events to parties, the space can be transformed to meet any need, and the Hall’s highly-trained staff is ready and able to assist in bringing your dream event
to life. “We are a full service event company and can handle anything and everything from tables, chairs, linen rentals, and décor to catering, bar services, and more,” says Cook. “We even have our own floral studio on property. We offer event planning and event production services, and we have a full service kitchen and an executive chef for catering events of all sizes.”
Renovations to the over 12,000-square-foot event space include additional brick accents, which serve as a great
backdrop for a stage, speaking platform, or focal point, such
as a wedding cake table. In addition, Cook added some white paneled walls, which not only brightened the space, but help to separate the venue and give yet another option for event setup. Though the process was difficult, especially during COVID-19, Cook says she is happy with what they’ve accomplished.
Cook’s partners in Richburg Hall are the owners of Sully’s Legendary Food & Drinks, which recently expanded from locations in Hattiesburg and Petal to the Coast. “When they found this building, they fell in love with it and saw the potential of the event space to be a great addition to their restaurant and bar,” said Cook. “After getting together and sharing visions, partnering up on this was a no brainer. My experience and reputation with event production and planning combined with their success in restaurants seemed like a perfect match to offer our customers an all-inclusive experience at Richburg Hall.”
And that’s just what they’ve done.
