Biloxi’s Susan Hunt is known for many different things, be it her baked goods, which she delivers to
friends (and sometimes strangers), her love for the Mississippi Gulf Coast, or her devotion to early
childhood learning as the certification manager for Biloxi Excel By 5. But Hunt is also synonymous
with Mardi Gras. It’s safe to say that the “Queen of Biloxi” has Mardi Gras running through her
veins; Carnival is in her blood.

Susan Hunt is Coast Mardi Gras royalty. Her grandfather is credited with bringing Mardi Gras to Biloxi. Her father helped start the Gulf Coast Carnival Association.
