After working in the cosmetology industryfor15years,Glisson’sdream became a reality with the opening of Brushes salon in December 2018. “I amsothankfulforthesupportofmy amazingfriendsandfamily,”shesays. “Iamalsoblessedwithatalentedteam ofsevenhairstylists,twonailartistsand agiftedmassagetherapist.Iconsider myself very lucky to have such a talented and well rounded team.”
At Brushes, the entire staff is dedicated to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for clients. According to Glisson, this is accomplished as a team. “We work really hard and really well together. We all support each other’s work and compliment each other’s talents. It all makes for a vibe that’s like a breath of fresh air.”
Glisson says the most rewarding part of her job is being able to use her talents to help clients look and feel their best. “Every single day we get
to use our work to highlight people’s beauty and make them feel great, while building incredible relationships,” she says. “Nothing can replace the bonds we build in the salon.”
