House of Tux in Gulfport is the go-to place for all your formalwear needs, specializing as a one-stop shop for bridal gowns, tuxedos, wedding party attire, jewelry and accessories, and even alterations.
“Our brides have dreamed of this day their entire lives,” says Owner Adrian Holland. “That’s why it’s so important to us to make it special for them and their families. We’ve been doing this since 1984 and have made a name for ourselves as the premier superstore for formalwear needs in the Southeastern region.”
Holland and her husband Chavus have put together
an amazing team and constructed a beautiful space that gives their customers a truly magical appointment experience. The store has
an industrial chic feel, and features three state-of-the-art bridal suites that are large enough to accommodate the whole family. The upscale atmosphere is reminiscent of a big city department store, but still has the warmth and charm of a true Southern establishment.
Each bride’s story is unique, as is each appointment. The consultants really gets to know each individual bride, helping them to tailor their vision to find the perfect gown. Whether it’s their first time trying on a wedding dress or they’ve tried on hundreds, the staff at Bridal and Formal is up to the task. Every bride deserves to find “The One.”
“It’s all about the bride,” said Holland. “The dress buying experience should
be just that, an experience. This is something they’ve looked forward to for a long time, and it should be special. Our ultimate goal is to help our brides to look and feel their most beautiful on their wedding day.”

After becoming engaged to husband-to-be Lamar Walker, one of Braighane’s first priorities was the dress. She was looking for that feeling – that she had found “The One.” She had felt that feeling about her groom, and now she hoped to feel it again when she found the perfect dress.
“When I walked into Bridal
and Formal, I was greeted with
a smile and it seemed like all they wanted to do was make sure that I was happy and felt beautiful on my big day,” said Braighane. “There were tons of options in a variety of styles, sizes, colors and price points.”
When her bridal consultant helped her into a lace mermaid-style dress with a sweetheart neckline that hugged her body in all the right places, she knew this was it: The One.
“I kept staring at myself and looking at it in different angles,” she laughed. “It was absolutely stunning! It was the perfect color for
my complexion, the style
fit my curves and showed them off, and there was
lots of bling, which I definitely wanted. It complimented me 100 percent and went with
my classic, vintage
wedding theme.”
