Your spare change can make a big difference with Operation Round Up. Each month, participating Coast Electric members’ bills are rounded up to the nearest dollar and the amount collected will go to benefit charitable organizations in Hancock, Harrison and Pearl River counties. For less than two cents a day, we can put an average of $418,000 back into our community each year. That’s a big impact for a small price.
Any charitable organization in Coast Electric’s service area can apply for funding. Based on the Community Trust guidelines, nonprofit, community, volunteer, educational or civic organizations that generally qualify as exempt under 501(c)(3) may apply for grants. Applications are available on www.coastepa.com during the month of February 2019. Working together, the cooperative way, we can make a difference.
