DINING diverse dining
Spotlight
ON BAY ST. LOUIS MEMBERS
story by Brandon Atwell, director, Mississippi Coast Restaurant & Beverage Association photo by Katherine Sowers
Old Town Bay St. Louis is the beautiful, waterfront area of
the town that anchors the west end of the Mississippi Coast. Boasting its own New Orleans- influenced culture, Bay St. Louis features a diverse group of Mississippi Coast Restaurant Association member restaurants and bars. Patronizing these establishments are the locals who arrive in nicely modified golf carts, and tourists who travel from near and far.
When visiting, stop by the
Mockingbird Cafe, Buttercup
on Second Street, Serious Bread or Lulu’s to start your day with some caffeine or breakfast. Or swing by Bouy’s, Blind Tiger, Cuz’s, Dan B. Murphy’s or Triple Tails for some seafood and views of the harbor. For some casual dinner fare, try out the Sycamore House, C&C Italian Bistro, 200 North Beach, or Trapani’s. End the night with some live music and a craft beer at the Ugly Pirate, or slip over to the train depot for the late night scene.
