BOOGIE NIGHT CELEBRATES THE 1980s
at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center

GET READY to crank up the tunes and boogie the night away at Lynn Meadow’s Discovery Center’s annual adult fundraiser, Boogie Night. The event begins at 8 p.m. and will
take place at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center’s WINGS Performing Arts and Education Building on March 2.
The party has a 1980s theme, complete with a dynamite ‘80s DJ playing old school favorites.
Food will be provided by some of the Coast’s top restaurants. Don’t forget to snap a photo in your best ‘80s threads at the Snaparazzi Photo Booth! There will also be a silent auction, featuring online and mobile bidding.
To add a little brightness, the Discovery Center will be joined by its Boogie Stars, community leaders from across the Coast who will be performing to
their favorite ‘80s tunes. This year’s stars include Lynn Lofton, Angel Kibler Middleton, Casual & The Uptights with David Parker, Patrick Sanders, Stephen Kidd, Lloyd Munn, The 2017 GCCA King and Dukes, Kent Nicaud, Frank Bordeaux, Rimmer Covington, Greg Fairey, Arthur McMillan, Tom Mueller, Sean Tindell and Ray Wesson.
“In 2018, Lynn Meadows Discovery Center will be celebrating its 20th birthday and the impact it has made on the children and families in the community,”
said Sonja Gillis, director of marketing and public relations & membership. “We look forward to growing and changing as we further commit to our mission of inspiring children, families and communities through the arts, interactive educational experiences and exploration.”
Tickets for Boogie Night start at $75 per person and $125 a couple. Reserved tables are also available.
All proceeds benefit the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center’s exhibits and programming for the museum, early childhood education, and WINGS Performing Arts program. Tickets can be purchased
