Spaghetti and Meatballs.
Begin your meal at The Sicilian II with a light Island Salad, Chef Drake’s take on a tangy Greek Salad, or the Soup Du Jour. A definite beginner for the entire table is Chef Drake’s signature Mozzarella Sticks. Gluten-free and crafted each day from scratch, the Mozzarella Sticks are a standout appetizer that you may not want to share.
If you are looking for a classic Italian entrée staple, opt for the Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, or upgrade with Drake’s gluten-free meatballs. Both the meat sauce and meatballs consist of beef, fresh tomatoes, and a secret blend of Italian spices.
If white sauce is more your style, the Sicilian Linguine or Shrimp Alfonso are both incredible choices. The Sicilian Linguine pairs tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms in a garlic infused olive
oil sauce and comes with your choice of chicken or shrimp. Chef Drake’s own Shrimp Alfonso is a definite crowd favorite. Tomatoes, onion, spinach, and bacon are tossed with a delicate Alfredo wine sauce and served over linguine. It’s an inventive take on your customary Alfredo sauce. If you want to sample a little bit of Drake’s Greek heritage, try the Mediterranean Pasta, where penne noodles are combined with tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, green bell peppers, black olives, and feta, and tossed in lemon olive oil.
While the Lasagna will always be my first love at The Sicilian II, I’ve also discovered the Baked Ziti, which has easily become my new favorite. House ground Italian sausage and Drake’s secret-recipe marinara sauce are mixed with penne, topped with fresh mozzarella and baked until golden, resulting in the perfect comfort meal. If you find yourself with any room left, Drake’s Chocolate Mousse or house-recipe Whipped Cream Cheese Cake are a must-try. Avoid the agony of deciding which one to get and simply order both.
