It’s December, which means the holidays are nearly upon us! While Hobby Lobby has had Christmas decorations out since, well, Halloween, most of us are just getting started on our holiday plans. Here at the South Mississippi Living office, we held
a little holiday party to start our festivities out right. We each brought some homemade treats to share with one another, and with our readers. We hope you’ll enjoy these Christmas goodies as much as we did.
INGREDIENTS:
1 package red velvet cake mix
2 packages (3.9 ozs each) Jell-O pistachio instant pudding mix
4 cups cold milk
8 ounces whipped cream,
thawed
INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare cake batter and bake
as directed on package. Cool completely. Beat pudding mix and milk in a medium bowl with a whisk for 2 minutes. Cut cake into 1⁄2
inch cubes. Layer half of the cake, pudding and whipped cream in
a trifle bowl, then repeat layers. Decorate as desired.
