William Carl (Billy) Miller
Every good attorney has to have drive, and for William Carl Miller,
his aim is to be a voice for the voiceless. After practicing law for 30 years, Miller found a successful and fulfilling career doing just that.
What Miller finds most rewarding is being able to look back and reflect on the lives of those he has been able
to help. He has played an integral part in changing people’s lives for the better, which is what being an attorney is all about.
Outside of the court room, Miller sings in his band, Billy Miller & the
Soul Savants. His greatest joys are his two children, Olivia and Wyatt.

W. Jarrett Little, Partner
Jarrett Little grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and was appointed to the United States Air Force Academy after graduating from high school. He graduated from the Academy in 2008 and began his term of service as an active duty Air Force officer. Little was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 2010.
“After I left the Air Force, there was a dispute as to whether I was required to repay the government for the degree I received from the Air Force Academy,” says Little. “The process involved a lot of research on statutes and cases that applied to my situation. I found that I enjoyed the challenge of identifying the critical facts and applying the law to get the best outcome. It also showed me how lawyers are able to help everyday people.”
Service and feeling like his career made a difference has always been very important to Little. His desire to serve his home state and his community led him back to Mississippi to attend law school at Mississippi College in Jackson, where he graduated cum laude in 2014.
A public servant and a soldier at heart, Little joined the Mississippi Army National Guard as an engineer officer while in law school. He has served
in various positions at the company, battalion and brigade levels and
was promoted to the rank of Major in 2021. He is currently assigned to Headquarters, 890th Engineer Battalion, Gulfport Mississippi as the Battalion Operations Officer.
“The most rewarding thing about practicing law is helping someone get through a tough time,” says Little. “No one comes to see a lawyer when everything in their life is perfect. The best part of my job is seeing the relief on a client’s face when I’m able to tell them everything is going to be okay.”
Little is a single father and lives with his daughter, Stella, in Long Beach. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, playing guitar, cooking, and CrossFit.
