Famous for their fruit nachos, The Scratch Kitchen o ers weekly variations of their menu, including an assortment of potatoes, loaded pork rinds and more. The Loaded Street Corn combines grilled corn on
the cob with a sampling of southwestern spices and is
a great dish to share. Looking for something heavier? The Grilled Chicken nachos were a personal favorite. Delicately diced grilled chicken was generously layered over cheese and crunchy corn nachos. Topped with house made pico de gallo and served alongside jalapeños and sour cream, these nachos are a must have.
Perhaps the most distinctive item, however, is the seafood smashed potato. A large baked potato is smashed and covered with a considerable amount of shrimp and crab then smothered with a variety of cheese and homemade pico. The Scratch Kitchen takes pride in its freshness and its attention to detail de nitely makes it worth the wait.
In 2019, Captain Freddy Eckles, Jr., traded in his  shing rod for a spatula when he opened Captain Coconut’s. Looking for a change of pace and a more stationary atmosphere, Captain Freddy was excited
