Four Waterside Homes Featured on December 2 Tour
story by Lynn Lofton photos by Katherine Sowers
or many years the Coast’s holiday season has been ushered in by the Gulfport Civic League’s tour of
homes. The 57th annual tour takes place Sunday, December 2, from 2 until 5 p.m. It features four
outstanding homes in Waterside, which will display different styles of holiday décor. Tickets are $15 each
and can be purchased from members of the Gulfport Civic League or at the door of homes on the tour.
Chairman Bridget Weatherly says all funds raised with the tour are
put back into the community to help needy and disabled citizens. “The home
of Leslie and Achim Suit is our tea house,” she added. “This year we are having a drawing for a Peter’s Pottery vase from Heritage House. Those who buy their
tour of homes tickets ahead of time will automatically be included in the drawing. Tickets for the drawing may also be purchased the day of the event.”
The following homes are on the tour.

The Seicshnaydre home was designed to provide a calm oasis for family relaxation and togetherness, but it strikes the perfect balance of retreating and a place to have fun, especially when the couple’s high school senior is joined by their two children who’re attending LSU.
