Along with support from the weight loss staff, Watkins also benefitted from diet and exercise counseling. His lifestyle has changed as his relationship with food has become a more healthy one. “I no longer allow food to control me,” he said. “I know that I need food to survive, but my life is not centered around it like it had been in the past. I’ve also become very active as I have discovered a love for working out and weight lifting. Fitness is now a major part of my life.”
Having achieved his goal, Watkins feels he can now be a role model for his son. On a personal level, his new found health has positively affected him both mentally and emotionally. “This process has shown me that I can accomplish anything. I’ve learned how strong I am and I’ve become more determined to be a better man in all aspects of my life,” he said. Watkins hopes to teach these lessons to his son Isaiah and help him on his own
journey.

the Coast with quality surgical care for over 30 years.
