Tour set for December 4

Sunday, December 4, marks the 55th Annual Gulfport Civic League Tour of Homes, a charitable fundraiser benefitting children and adults with special needs. The tour features
a collection of beautifully decorated homes, each trimmed with holiday adornments, and will take place from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
“The main purpose of this event is to raise money for those in our community who have special needs,” said Henrianne Hewes, this year’s Civic League publicity chairman. “In the past, proceeds from the Tour of Homes have gone towards swings in Jones Park that are specifically designed for children with special needs, as well as towards scholarships for students seeking degrees that will further benefit those with special needs.”
This year’s featured homes are those of Jamie and Steven Warren, 4815 Jefferson Avenue; Faith and Jay Jordan, 4907 Courthouse Road; Cindy and Jimmie Hahn, 43 54th Street; and Cindy and Chris Cooper, 22 Hancock Place.
Refreshments will be served at the home of Jamie and Steven Warren. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased from members of the Gulfport Civic League or at the door of homes on the tour. For more information, call Henrianne Hewes at 228.896.7434.
