just right in this huge, creamy banana pudding. If you want to indulge, start here.
Course four was what was perhaps my favorite of the evening, although that would be a hard call to make. The Crawfish Flatbread, paired with a cold brew, would be a huge and delicious meal for one. Think sautéed crawfish tails, andouille sausage, roasted tomatoes, and charred scallions. All loaded on a house made flatbread that was chewy and just grand.
Course five was a stunning burger, fancifully called a Miami Frita. It was a brioche bun, chorizo and beef patty, a blend of cheeses, roasted tomato, crispy potato chips (delightful!) and chipotle ranch. This is as imaginative and delicious a burger as I have ever had. Hands down.
Then, Carne Asada Quesadilla was another triumph. It was all the right ingredients, plus just the right touch of green chilies and pico de gallo. I’d pair this Tex-Mex classic with a Dos Equis and would be a very content fellow. Lastly, we had a divine wedge of pecan pie. Pick a dark beer, or a stout to go with this sweet goodbye, and you will finish with a perfect kiss.
Coast Restaurant is a jewel — a comfortable place with a great beer and wine selection, as well as great specialty drinks — whether you come for football or a night out with friends and family.
