she played countless local events and annual festivals, constantly wowing crowds, and Gulf Coast music enthusiasts were instantaneously captivated by her powerhouse voice with an expressive wispy range that effortlessly denotes emotion.
And now, the Resurrection Catholic High School graduate has flown her songbird nest and is living in California. After high school, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to attend Belmont University where she sought a bachelor’s degree in music business administration.
She graduated college in 2019 and stayed in the Music City. She recently landed a job with Treyarch, a video game developer based in Santa Monica, California. She moved to Los Angeles this summer and is now an external development supervisor with the Call of Duty franchise. “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” is slated for release on October 25.
“I’m excited to get more embedded in the music scene here,” she said. “Because of my digital success, people expect me to play clubs all the time, but of course, I’m really busy with career stuff too. I’ve met a couple of artists here who haven’t had that much digital success, but they have physical club success. I’m excited to start collaborating with them and helping each other out. I’m ready to start playing live more.”
Once an upcoming Flagship City troubadour singing her heart out while strumming guitar at local venues such as Pascagoula’s annual Zonta Festival, Cooper is now a nationally and globally celebrated singer, songwriter, and musician, so if she’s not already on your Spotify playlist – without a doubt, you’re missing out.
