In these unprecedented times, everyone is finding new ways to engage with one another and their community. Heading outside is a perfect
way to make the most of the natural beauty around us, while also keeping safe.
INFINITY
Science Center
Zip’N Fun
Driving west along I-10 in Hancock County, it’s hard to miss the INFINITY Science Center. The building itself is striking, but it’s overwhelmed by a 138-foot-long Saturn V rocket that sits in front. This is the first stage of the rocket built for the cancelled Apollo 19 mission and was donated by Stennis Space Center, which enjoys a strong partnership with INFINITY. The science center acts as Stennis’ o icial visitor’s center and tells the history of space exploration.
In addition to INFINITY’s indoor collection of
artifacts and exhibits, the center also o ers plenty
of opportunity to get outdoors. The self-paced Biome Boardwalk takes you over swamps and bogs to the perfect view the mighty Saturn V first stage booster and its five giant F-1 engines.

for those with shorter strides. The Tree Top Adventure Course is an aerial trail that progresses in di iculty
the farther you go and includes 50 games and obstacles including swinging logs, ziplines, and a Tarzan jump.
