1969 Chevelle with a 632-cubic-
inch, 900 horsepower daily driver for retired Major League Baseball pitcher BJ Ryan out of Texas. Since then, Poole Speed has been busy getting builds together to showcase at this year’s Cruisin’ the Coast to show its
range in vehicles and capabilities in builds. A 1969 C10 farm truck is the
latest completed build that will be showcased this year. Its stock engine was replaced by a 468 big block with 850 horsepower, backed by a turbo 400 transmission and complete
overhaul of the drivetrain, fuel system, heating and A/C and electrical. Not to mention the handcrafted wooden bed. The goal was to keep the truck in its original form, or as close as
they could. The result? Another unforgettable ride.
