This October during breast cancer awareness month, you can spot our crews sporting pink hard hats to bring awareness and show love and support to all those who have been a ected by breast cancer. Breast cancer has touched the lives of many and our is hope is that this small gesture will help to bring comfort to those bravely ghting each and every day.
One of our own, Tracey Harvey, is a seven-year breast cancer survivor working in Picayune as a eld service representative. “I wear pink as a reminder for women to get their mammograms, for all the survivors, for the ones who are ghting this disease and for those who have succumbed to the disease,” she says. In addition to rocking the pink hard hats, each October employees and their families are able to raise money and awareness by participating in the many fundraising events in Hancock, Harrison and Pearl River counties. These events may look a little di erent this year to allow for social distancing but the passion for research and funding remains the same. Our support and love is with those battling this disease now and always, and we believe in the power of pink.
