LEGACY AWARD
JASON WILSON
The 2017 Best of Show Award went to Marshall Albritton of Whittier, North Carolina, for his soil and mineral earthscape paintings. The Peter Anderson Legacy Award was presented to Jason Wilson of Sumrall, Mississippi, for his handmade and wheel- thrown functional stoneware pottery. The Mississippi Press Award of Excellence was given to Vaughn Millner of Bay Minette, Louisiana, for her art jewelry made from ancient metalsmithing techniques such as Keumboo. The Award for the Creative Arts was given to Sam Clark of Madison, Mississippi, for his handmade original clay characters. The Booth Award was presented to Chase Mullen of Galvez, Louisiana.
