When Courtney Cuevas opened Simply Jane Clothing Co. in May of 2021, she had no idea what to expect.
“We opened as an online boutique, but quickly opened a store front in Long Beach a few months later,” says Cuevas. “Simply Jane Clothing Co. is a women’s clothing boutique that aims to offer something for everyone including style, age, and size. We are still expanding our options and hope
to be able to provide every woman an
item they feel beautiful wearing. Simply Jane offers an extensive selection of tops, bottoms, dresses, rompers, and so much more.”
Over the past two years, Cuevas has really gotten to know her clientele and has developed close relationships with many of them. “There is never a day that I dread going to work,” she says. “From buying to selling, I love every minute of my days at the boutique. I love that I am able to create a place where generations of women can shop.”
Cuevas also serves as the community affairs director for the City of Long Beach where she is able to promote small businesses within the city and promote the city as a whole.
