Face of Arielle Victoria Arts
ARIELLE VICTORIA BARRIENTOS
When photographer Arielle Victoria Barrientos wanted to capture milestone moments of her son in 2017, she did so and a business was born, Arielle Victoria Arts.
“The thing I like most is the versatility of my work; one day I am shooting a lifestyle newborn session and the next I’m shooting a graphic designer’s recent custom home,” she said. “I am grateful for everyone who has supported me in my endeavors no matter at what stage in life.”
As a single mom, Barrientos says she doesn’t have much of a life outside work and her son. She lives on the Coast because her family is here. “Working and living here with help is an invaluable resource when you’re a single parent,” she says, “and I like that the cost of living is low here.”
As a violinist, she jump started her career as a Suzuki Violin teacher and was able to stay home with her son when he was an infant while also making a small income. “This start has allowed me to pursue more endeavors in photography and grow my skills,” she says.
A short, sassy Mexican – that’s how friends would describe her, according to the lady herself. Other interesting facts about her are that she’s dyslexic and has 20 plus tattoos.
Barrientos’ family consists of her five-year-old son Peter, and two dogs, Selena and Hagrid. They have also adopted five neighborhood stray cats. “My hobbies are throwing mud at the Gulfport Arts Center, and continuously learning more skill sets to improve my artwork.”
