HOME custom fit
rooms are just as well-designed as the rest of the house. Pryce, the youngest, has a room fit for a princess, complete with a metallic crown over the window and angel wings over her bed. Her brothers’ room has a tufted headboard on the bottom bed for their oldest son, Blaine, and an industrial bunk above it for Smith.
The headboard in the master suite is stunning. “It’s actually made from a comforter I had made for our bed in our last house,” Christy said. “Brandon was able to use the fabric to make a mounted headboard for our new house.”
Just like the home’s living area, the master bedroom is flooded with natural light coming through a wall of windows. The view from the back of the house is breathtaking, which is exactly why the couple decided to undertake this renovation. “They aren’t making any more waterfront property, but we were lucky enough to find a home on the water that we could adapt to fit our family.”
The children enjoy spending time in the back yard, which is surprisingly large for a neighborhood. “The house is on about two acres and was actually built on multiple lots,” Christy said.
All of Brandon and Christy’s hard work results in the home of their dreams. “For us, this is our forever home,” Christy said. “We will raise our family here, make memories here, and one day give this home to our children for them to enjoy with their own families.”
