WHERE TO EAT
Now that lodging is selected, the hard part is over! Time to find some Coastal cuisine for you and your partner in crime. The restaurants and bars in Downtown Ocean Springs are almost exclusively pet-friendly, and an added bonus is that they’re all so close to one another, with Mosaic Restaurant & Bar and Maison de Lu both offering large outdoor patios.
If you’re closer to the Long Beach area, Long Beach Market & Deli has some of the best Asian cuisine on the Coast, the largest cold beer selection in the State, and also has a great patio for relaxing with your companion. Don’t forget about all the great breweries down here, such as Fly Llama, as each one is always happy to see a new pet!
If you're ready to cool down after a day in the warm, Coastal sun, be sure to stop by Pop Brothers with your furry friends and grab a Pooch Pop! Visit them in Gulfport, Ocean Springs, or Bay St. Louis.
MORE PET-FRIENDLY RESTAURANTS:
• The Blind Tiger Bay St. Louis • The Shed BBQ & Blues Joint • The Dock Bar and Grill
• Government Street Grocery • Glory Bound Gyro Co.
• Jacked Up Coffee Bar • Mockingbird Cafe'
• Sea Level

Board the Biloxi Shrimping Trip in Biloxi and learn all about the shrimping industry on their dog-friendly, 60-minute tour. The staff is made up of a crew of dog lovers with an excellent knowledge of Coastal Mississippi and the surrounding waterways.
Dogs are always welcome on the beaches in Hancock and Jackson Counties! Located between Ocean Springs Harbor and the Biloxi Bay Bridge, Front Beach offers white sand and shallow water, with fantastic views the whole way. East Beach is more popular with local residents and is dog-friendly, but the dogs have to be leashed. Hancock County is fortunate to have a whole chain of wonderful sandy beaches between the cities of Bay St. Louis and Waveland, with gradually- sloping water perfect for dogs to enjoy a cooling romp in the Mississippi Sound. Always ensure your dog is on a leash and clean up after them to maintain the pet-friendly status of these beaches.
There are plenty of parks to stroll through in Coastal Mississippi – just remember to mind each park's regulations as some require your furry friend to be leashed. Jones Park in Gulfport has a beach view walking track with a splash pad to play in after your workout. Pack a lunch for Larroux Park in Bay St. Louis equipped with picnic tables under beautiful oak trees to enjoy with your four-legged pal. Biloxi offers two dog-specific parks, Popp's Ferry Dog Park and Pixie's Memorial Dog Park, both equipped with large open spaces, access to drinking water, and benches.
You can also bring your best friend along to Wolf River Canoe and Kayak as you discover one of the region's many waterways.
Bringing your pets on vacation can be a lot of fun, but it’s important to be mindful of varying local policies and regulations to ensure an enjoyable trip for everyone — including your furry companions!
