Sam’s Town Tunica honored for workplace safety
TUNICA — Sam’s Town Tunica received two safety awards from Boyd Gaming during the company’s 2022 awards program. The Tunica property was named Most Improved for Workplace Safety and also received the company’s highest safety award, The President’s Award for Workplace Safety.

Beau Rivage’s Orville “OG” Gayle, a security officer, was awarded the Regional Volunteer Service Award for the second quarter of the year by MGM Resorts International. Originally from Jamaica, Gayle
has worked at Beau Rivage for 20 years. For years, he has assisted his community with funeral expenses and alleviating food insecurity, often donating his entire paycheck to these causes. He founded the OG Changing Lives Foundation, a 501(c) (3) organization, because of his passion for helping. The foundation aims to change homelessness in Mississippi, hosting giving campaigns via social media.

Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa recently received two awards from United Way of Washington County, including the James Trimm Key Player of the Year Award
for the property’s community support and for consistently setting the pace for team involvement. Additionally, Harlow’s received a special certificate for placing in the Top Five contributors in the county, ranking No. 2 overall for team and corporate participation. Harlow’s President and General Manager Roscoe Greene (center) accepted the awards from Nathan Benzing, executive director of the United Way of Washington County.
