Golden Nugget names STARS
BILOXI — Golden Nugget Biloxi recently named its STAR Employees of the Month for the second quarter of 2022. A luncheon was held to honor the nominees for their service and dedication.
The STAR Employee of the Month winners were Gary Holley, facilities, winning for April; Leslie Smith, IT, May; and Wanda Huffman, food and beverage, June.
Sheila Campbell, lead surveillance
operator, was recognized as STAR
Leader of the Quarter for the
second quarter. She joined the
Golden Nugget team in 2014 after
years in the gaming industry as a
table games dealer. Campbell is
known for always lending a helping hand to coworkers, and her sense of humor makes her team smile. She takes pride in her job and is an integral part of the surveillance operation.
Each STAR Employee of the Month received $300, plus $100 in resort credit and a day off with pay. The Leader of the Quarter was awarded $500, plus $200 in resort credit, eight hours of paid time off and a reserved parking spot. Winners also received a trophy, an invitation to the annual banquet and are eligible for the Employee/Leadership of the Year award.

Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa recently named its Team Members and Team Leaders of the Quarter for the first quarter of

2022. Barbara Harris, slot attendant, was named front-of-house Team Member of the Quarter, and Martha Washington, room attendant, was named back-of-house Team Member of the Quarter. The Team Leaders of the Quarter were Ahmad Redmond, marketing manager, who received the front-of-house honors, and Brenda Chillis, kitchen supervisor, who was awarded for back-of-house.
